AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 1258, AS AMENDED, REGARDING
ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, TO
INCLUDE LANDSCAPE REGULATIONS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, has
prepared amendments to Ordinance 1258, as amended, which adopted zoning regulations and an
official zoning map for the City of West Memphis, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, not fewer than three (3) copies of said amendments to Ordinance 1258, as
amended, have been on file in the office of the City Clerk in the West Memphis City Hall and will
continue to be on file at all times for public inspection and review; and
WHEREAS, after a public hearing upon due notice and publication, pursuant to Article
IX, Section 5, 6, and 7 ofthe zoning regulations adopted by Ordinance 1258, as amended, the
Planning Commission has approved and recommended for adoption the proposed amendments of
the zoning regulations adopted by Ordinance 1258, as amended ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Article VI of the zoning regulations adopted by Ordinance 1258, as
amended, is hereby amended to be named "OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING
REGULATIONS AND LANDSCAPE ORDINANCE".
SECTION 2. Article VI, Section 3, of the zoning regulations adopted by Ordinance
1258, as amended, is hereby amended to add the following:
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
