AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN A C-1, GENERAL
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO ALLOW A ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL FACILITY AT
1105 INGRAM BLVD., WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Planning Commission to
allow a Special Use Permit of a car rental facility in a C-1, General Business District
District, as required by Ordinance 1258, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice has been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1258, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission, on April 26, 2000 and the Planning Commission recommended that a
Special Use Permit be granted to Enterprise Rent-a-Car, for said property, tp
permit a car rental facility in a C-1, General Business District, subject to the following
supplemental condition:
1. Design Review Commission approval for the landscaping; fencing; and signage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit:
1105 Ingram Blvd., West Memphis, Arkansas
be, and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit, permitting a car rental facility in
a C-1, General Business District, subject to the following supplimential condition:
1. Design Review Commission approval for the landscaping; fencing; and signage.
SECTION II: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
