A RESOLUTION COMMENDING CLARENCE DAMS FOR HIS
SERVICE ON THE WEST MEMPHIS CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Clarence Davis was elected in 2002 to serve as Alderman from Ward One,
Position Two, on the West Memphis City Council where he has served for six years; and
WHEREAS, Clarence Davis has been exemplary in serving his constituents in Ward One
and has always been instrumental in exploring avenues to improve the conditions of the city; and
WHEREAS, Clarence Davis, during his tenure with the City Council, has served on the
Personnel Committee, Public Works Committee, Insurance Committee, Budget Committee, West
Memphis Utility Commission, Police Commission, Fire Commission and Insurance
Commission; and
WHEREAS, Clarence Davis has been known for his progressive, positive and active
attitude in all of his endeavors while serving Ward One, Position Two; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis has been fortunate to have the service,
dedication and outgoing personality of Clarence Davis on the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, that Clarence Davis be commended for his service
and dedication to the citizens of West Memphis.
