The Council of the City of Nest Biemphis in the County o€ Crittenden,
State of Arkansaa~ met in an adjourned session at City Hall in said City
at 8;00 P.A?. o'oloc?c on the 11th day of June, 1946.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, and the roll being
called there ware:
•-- ' Fresent: F. ?~i. )acus, in the chair, and the following named
aldermon; G. Vu. McAuley, J. A. Johnson, 0. I. Bollinger, Curtis Fostar,
and C. ;I. Brown; and City Attorney J. H. Spears and Clarence Clifton,
Attorney for the Light and ;rater De partmsnt.
The Mayor announced that notice had been published pursuant to
Ordinance No. 121 that the City contemplates the issuance of bonds
described in that ordinance to refinance tae cutstandirg Light and
Water Bonds, and that this meetin is being. held pursuant to the
published notice so that any person interested may appear before the
Council and be }:card.
The meeting stayed in session from 8;00 o~clocs to 8;15 and no
persons appeared requesting to 'oe heard or raise any objections to
the proposed action of the Cit,r in the issuance cf the bonds described
in Ordimm~ce No. 121.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, the
following motion vas made by Alderman Bollinger and seconded by
Alderman ?.:ctiuley to adjourn the meeting, and upon the matter being
called to vote the followin;- voted:
Aye: G. 1V. I:IcAuley, J. A. Johnson, 0. I. Bollinger, Curtis r^oster,
and C. H. Brcvm, and the following voted
