A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISION TO THE 2025 BUDGET.
WHEREAS,A.C.A. §14-.58-.2.03 states the governing body may alter or revise the
budget and unpledged funds appropriated by the governing body for any purpose may be
subsequently,by action of the governing body, appropriated to another purpose;and
WHEREAS,the Finance Director Of the City:of West Memphis;Arkansas, deems it
necessary to request a change in the approved budget for 2025;and
WHEREAS,the Finance Director requests to add a budget for the 2025 Casino Bond
Fund.Budget to reflect revenues from Interest/Dividends$16,433.92 and revenues from
Southland,garning tax$12,003,76844.Expenses from the Casino Bond Fund were for.Park
Improvenaents for$3,865,718.49,Bond interest and fees$878,100,and Transfers out of
$11,055,289.28.
WHEREAS,the Finance. Director requests to add a budget for the 2025 Sales Tax Bond
Fund. Budget to reflect revenues from Interest/Dividends$26,708.05 and revenues from Sales
• Tax$3,361-,002.69.Expenses and fees of$1,751,180,11.Project funds for Parks and Recreation,
Police,Fire and Drainage are as follows:revenues,from Interest/Dividends$704,936.68 and
contributions of$27,193,68020.Expenses and fees of$491,166.45; revenues from
Interest/Dividends$210,822.48 and contributions of$8,162,983.04.Expenses and fees of
$100,700;revenues from Interest/Dividends $55,709.68 and contributions of$2,177,362.60.
Expenses and fees of$105,975;revenues from Interest/Dividends$252,509.06 and contributions
of$9,792,081.21. Expenses and fees of$686,653.27.
WHEREAS,the Finance Director of the City of West Memphis,Arkansas, finds that the
request for changes in the approved budget for 2025 has met all requirements as stated in this

statute and it is appropriate that the changes requested should be approved;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS,THAT the changes in the 2025 budget for the
City of West Memphis is hereby approved and shall be in full three and effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval.
