2362 RESOLUTION NO. . A A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISION TO THE 2026 BUDGET. WHEREAS,A.C.A. §14-58-203 states the governing body may alter or revise the budget and unpledged funds appropriated by the governing body for any purpose ma),be subsequently, by action of the governing body,appropriated to another purpose;and -WHEREAS,the Finance Director of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas,deems it necessary to request a change in the approved budget for 2026;and. WHEREAS,the Finance Director requests to establish a budget for the Meadowbrook Golf Course for July to December. Budget was presented by a third-party management company, Kemper Sports who will be managing the facility. Budget will be as follows: Revenues- $625,177;Expenditures-$970,479 (Payroll-$500,376, Course/Grounds-$209,640,F&B- $39,000,and other expenses$221,463.)Management Fee $80,000 and Capital Projects- $488,000. WHEREAS,the Finance Director of the City of West Memphis,Arkansas,finds that the- • request for changes in the approved budget for 2026 has met all requirements as stated in this statute and it is approPriate that the requested changes should be approved; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS,THAT the change,s in the 2026 budget for the City of West Memphis is hereby approved and shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
