HELD AT THE CITY HALL IN SAID CITY ON THE 21ST_DAY OF JUNE 19 2. AT 3:OfLP,M.
The City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, met in a regular session
at 3:00 o~clock P.M. on the 21st day of June, 1962, in the City Hall in said City, the
regular meeting place of the City Council. There were present: Mayor Howell B. Price,
Aldermen: -R. C. Bowie, R. E. Eden, Earl Felts, Kirby Leggett, Y. G. Sims, C. H. Roxton,
and 0. I. Bollinger, and City Attorney W. H. Dillahunty.
Absent: Alderman: Paul Matthews.
Minutes of Council Meetings of June 7 and 15th were approved as read.
Mayor Price requested authorization from the Council to set-up an account number for
the airport, and to request necessary finances from the Utility Commission as the account
had not been anticipated in preparation of the 1962 Budget. After discussion, motion was
made by Alderman Sims, seconded by Alderman Eden: That the Mayor be authorized to set-up
an Airport Account and request appropriation from the Utility Commission for the account.
Upon vote, the voting was as Follows:
Ayes: Aldermen: Bowie, Eden, Felts, Leggett, Sima, Rowton, and Bollinger.
No: None.
No further business being presented, motion was made by Alderman Eden, seconded b3'
Alderman Felts, that the meeting be ad3ourned. Upon vote, the voting was as follows:
Ayes: Aldermen: Bowie, Eden, Felts, Leggett, Sims, Rowton, and Hollinger.
No: None.
