The City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, met in regular session at
its regular meeting place in West Afemphis, Arkansas, at 3:00 o'clock P.M. on the
3rd day of October, 1963• There were present: Mayor Hob Eden, City Clerk Charles DeGraff,
and Aldermen: Kirby Leggett, Paul 2atthews, Y. G. Sims, C. R. Rowton, F. C. Weis,
R. C. Bowie, and Earl Felts.
Absent: Alderman 0. I. Bollinger and City Attorney W. H. Dillahunty.
It being determined a quorum was present, the following proceedings were had to-wit:
Minutes of Council Meeting on September 19, 1963, were approved as read.
The City~s paying for flu shots for city employees was brought to the Councils
attention. After discussion, motion was made by Alderman Felts, seconded by
Alderman Leggett: That the City continue program d' providing flu shots for city
employees, whc will take them, as in the past. Upon vote, the voting was as Follows:
Yes: Aldermen: Leggett, Matthews, Sims, Rowton, ldeis, Bowie, and Felts.
No: None.
Complaint as to cars passing stopped school bus from the Marion School District on
Dover Road was discussed.
No further business being presented, motion was made by Alderman Weis, seconded by
Alderman Felts to adjourn. Upon vote, the voting was as follows:
Yes: Aldermen: Leggett, Matthews, Sims, Rowton, Weis, Bowie, and Felts.
No: None.
