AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL PERMITTED USE OF A 56.00 ACRE
PARCEL OF LAND LYING IN THE NWT OF SECTION 9 AND THE SW~ OF
SECTION 4, T-6-N, R-9-E IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, application was to the City Planning Commission to allow
a special permitted use of a truck terminal facility, with an
administrative building and truck parking in a C-2 Zone, Open Display
Commercial District, as required by Ordinance 1258, as amended; and
WHEREAS, After Notice had been published for the time and in the
manner as provided by Ordinance No. 1258, as amended, the matter was
heard by the City Planning Commission and the Planning Commission
recommended that a Special Permit Use be granted to said property to
permit a truck terminal facility with an administrative building and
truck parking in a C-2 Zone, Open Display Commercial District subject
to the special conditions as follows:
1. City Engineers approval of drainage and street improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED SY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property to wit:
Common address: 3400 Southland Drive
Legal Description: A 56.00 acre parcel of land lying in the NW's
of Section 9 and the SEA of Section 4, T-6-N,
R-9-E, City of West Memphis, Crittenden
County, Arkansas
be and the same is hereby granted a Special Permit Use allowing and
permitting the usage of a truck terminal facility with special
conditions as follows:
1. City Engineers approval of drainage and street improvements.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed. w
