Dear Ms. Fordyce:
In answer to yours of February 13th, in x•egard to
rezoning of B].ock 5 in the Eugene Gioods Subdivision to 6~'est 1•Iemphis.
Since there has been so much said and done with
reference to zoning the property in this subdivision, I would not
be inclined to the re-zoning of Block 5 as cominerci.al. fIowever,
I taould see no particular objection to the west line along the
Hulbert hi.ghTray being used for conunercial purposes, but the whole
block gets close to the hospital., and the re-zon:i_ng would be contrary
to what I have talked to you about.
Therefore T tail"1 neither recommend or condemn, but I
thi_nlc. it unfair to re-zone this property.
Yours very truly,

Dear Mayor and Nlembers of City Counci.7.:
The Crittenden Piemori.a]_ Hospital Board has met and discussed your letter of
February 13th in connection with Senhausen and Scottrs request for rezoning
of block ~ of Eugene ti^Jc~ls, subdivision from "Sing7_e Family Residence District"
to "D Conmcrcia]_ District.
Irr considering the rezoning of this property from single fanr:il.y residence to
"D Conmtexcial", th.e Board. feels that it troul.d ,jeapordize the future construction
of the expansi.en o.f the hospital. In the future we also plan to provide for a
nurses residence, therefore, the Boax•d i_s objecting to the rezoning of this
property.
°ie will certainly appreciate any consideration you, as t~iayor, and the City
Council might extend to this objection,
