-• On the 27th day of rdovember, 1959, the Council of the City of i~Test ilemphis,
Abkansas, met in tlk City Hall in said City in special session. The meeting was
called to order at 10:00 k.M, by the T'dayor, and on the roll call the following
members of the Council ;~rere found to be present:
Aldermen: B. J. David, Bob Yden, R. H. Ray, Jr., L. .Roleson,
Y, G, 3i ms, James Bledsoe, 0, I. Boh>?nger, and
City ;atorney T. H. Dillahunty.
Absent: Alderman J. L. Rimes.
It being determined a quorum :ras present, the follo:~r ng proceedings were
had to-wit:
Mayor ?rice informed the Council the Special ?~eeting had been called to
present the Budget for the City of ~7est Memphis for 1960 in accordance with
Act 23 of the 1959 Ar'.•cansas Legislature inasmuch as the Act requires the
Budget for the coming Sre ar to be presented to the Council on or before
December 1st and to be approved by Februar,~ 1st.
Copies of the Budget for 19b0 srere distributed to the Council.
?Mayor Price stated to the Council it will be necessary to adjust various
items before approval due to information not being available until
December 31st. After discussion of the appropriations for the depa~^tments,
the matters cre re referred to the special committees appcinted in August for
further study and recommendations.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, Alderman Bledsoe
moved the meeting adjourn, *.~rhich motion was duly seconded by Alderman Roleson, and
the following vote was reccrded:
Ayes: Aldermen: David, =den, Ray, Roleson, Sims, Bledsoe, and Bollinger.
