AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE A 4 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING IN
THE NW'/a OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 9 EAST, AND
BEING A FRACTIONAL PART OF LOT 3 OF THE WILSON-RICH
INDUSTRIAL PARK TO THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, CRITTENDEN
COUNTY, ARKANSAS TO I-1, INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission to rezone the
hereinafter described property, and after notice having been published for the time and in the
manner as provided by Ordinance No. 715, as amended, the matter was heard by the City
Planning Commission, and the Planning Commission recommended that the application be
approved and the City Council finds that such application should be granted; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property located in the City of West
Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas, to wit:
A 4.0 acre tract of land lying in the NW'/a of Section 9, T-6-N, R-9-E,
and being a fractional part of Lot 3 of the Wilson-Rich Industrial Park to the City
of West Memphis as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 201, in the
Office of the Circuit Court Clerk & Ex-Officio Recorder of Crittenden County,
Arkansas and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 3, also the intersection of the
East line of the W'/a of Section 9, T-6-N, R-9-E, with the north right-of-way line
of Interstate Highway No. 40; thence S85°56'33"W along said north right-of-way
line a distance of 333.50 feet to a point; thence N00°23'21 "E a distance of
537.40 feet to a point, thence S89°36'42"E a distance of 332.50 feet to its
intersection with the East line of the W'/z of said Section 9, thence S00°23'21 "W
along said East line a distance of 511.55 feet to the point-of-beginning, containing
4.0 acres more or less and being subject to easements as shown.
