WEST MEMPHIS CITY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 28, 2008
A special-called meeting of the West Memphis City Council was held on Friday, November 28, 2008 at
9:00 a.m. in the Mayors Conference Room at City Hall, 205 S. Redding, West Memphis, Arkansas.
Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Those present were: Mayor l~lliam H.
Johnson, City Treasurer Frank Martin and Councilors, Clarence Davis, James Pulliaum, Ramona
Taylor, Mamo McClendon, James Holt, Chester Peeples, Herman Coleman, and Phillip Carter. Absent.
Alderwomen Lorraine Robinson and Helen Harris. Quorum being present, Mayor Johnson proceeded
with the meeting.
Mayor Johnson said the reason for the called meeting was to present the 2009 budget. Finance
Director Frank Martin passed out the budget. Mr. Martin said he would schedule budget work sessions
at a later date.
Having no further business to come before the City Council, the meeting was adjourned
PASSED and APPROVED this a a- day of January, 2009.
