AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 896 SOUTH WALKER, ALLOWING AN
AGRICULTURAL GRAIN TRANS-LOADING FACILITY IN A CVE,
CONSERVATION EXTRA-TERRITORIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission, on
September 30, 2009, for a Special Use Permit to allow an Agricultural Grain Trans-
Loading Facility, in a CVE, Conservation Extra-Territorial District, as required by
Ordinance No. 1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 and the Planning Commission
recommended a Special Use Permit be granted to allow an Agricultural Grain Trans-
Loading Facility at 896 South Walker, located in a CVE, Conservation Extra-Territorial
District, with the following criteria:
1. Add additional staging lanes if needed, so trucks will not back up on South
Loop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The following described property, to wit:
Address: 896 South Walker
West Memphis, Arkansas
Legal Descri tion: Lot 1
APAC Property Subdivision
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing an Agricultural Grain
Trans-Loading Facility at 896 South Walker, located in a CVE, Conservation Extra-
Territorial District, with the following criteria:
1. Add additional staging lanes if needed, so trucks will not back up on South
Loop.
SECTION I1: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
