MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARISANSA3, HAD AND HELD ON MAY 6, 1976.
The City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas met in session at its
regular meeting place in West Memphis, Arkansas, at 1:15 otclock p.m., on the
6th day of May, 1976. There were present Mayor Joyce Ferguson, City Attorney
Robert L.- ~i.th, and Aldermen: R. S. Cosgrove, Thomas Dickerson, D. M. Grimsley,
W. L. Harris, J. E. Hightower, A. 0. Holt, Pritchard Horton, J. C. King,
Tilden Rodgers, and R. T. Bentley.
Absent: None.
The Mayor announced that this .was the time set for hearing protests, objections
and suggestions concerning Ordinance No. 862, passed and approved April 15, 1976
concerning the issuance of Water and S®wer Revenue Bonds authorized and. ordered
issued thereby. The City Attorney stated that a copy of the Ordinance, together
with notice of the adoption thereof, the contemplated issuance of the bonds, and
of the meeting on this date for hearing protests had been duly published
April 20, 1976, as required by law. The Mayor then called upon anyone present
who desired to do so to present protests, objections or suggestions.
No one appeared to present protests, objections or suggestions.
There being no further business, the hearing adjourned.
