WEST MEMPHIS CITY COUNCIL
DECEMBER 29, 1977
A recessed meeting of the West Memphis City Council was
-^ called to order by the mayor at 5:00 P. M. , in the council chamber at
City Hall on December 29, 1977. Present were:
Mayor Joyce T. Ferguson
City Attorney Robert L. Smith
Aldermen:
Don Grimsley
Charles Hampton
James Hightow e r
Pritchard Horton
Roberta Jackson
Doug Morris
R. H. Ray
being a quorum.
The mayor announced the purpose of the recessed meeting was
to consider the Shop Committee Report.
Alderman Hampton stated that the Shop Committee had met
again that day and made a motion to accept Phase A as outlined in the
report on the new shop from the committee, representing a total cost
of $398, 425. 87.
Alderman Grimsley seconded the motion.
After discussion, and upon roll call vote, all aldermen voted
"Aye" and it was unanimously
RESOLVED, That Phase A as outlined in
the report on the new shop from the Shop
Committee, representing a total cost of
$398, 425.87 is hereby accepted and approved.
There being no further business to come before the council,
Alderman Morris made a motion to adjourn. Alderman Grimsley
seconded the motion and upon voice vote being unanimously carried,
(Shop Phase A)
the mayor adjourned the meeting at 5:12 P. M.
