WEST MEMPHIS CITY COUNCIL
SEPTEMBER 27, 1979
A special meeting of the best Memphis City Council was held on
' September 27, 1979 at x:00 p. m. in West Memphis, Arkansas, at City HaII
in the Council Chambers. Mayor Joyce ?'. Ferguson called the meeting

Prayer was offered by Alderman R. Jackson.
Alderman Morris gave the Budget Committee report which stated that
the recommendation from the Budget Committee was not to raise the garbage
rates at this time and withdraw the ,x`14, 900.00 that was to be put in
the Sanitation Budget t o employ seven CETA Wo rke rs.

The recommendation passed.
Alderman DuYal l made the motion, seconded by Alderman Morris, that
the meeting be adjourned.
The Meeting adjourned at 3: 04.
