A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF LIENS FOR
GRASS CUTTING SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1935 adopted by the West Memphis City Council
certified charges to be placed as a lien against certain property within the City of West
Memphis, including that property located at 1603 Goodwin, in West Memphis for grass
cutting pursuant to Ordinance 1385; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1935 certified charges of $85.00 to be placed as a
lien against the property owned by Sandra K. Miller, 1603 Goodwin in West Memphis
for grass cutting; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Code Enforcement Office that the
lien of $85.00 placed against the property located at 1003 Goodwin in West Memphis by
Resolution No. 1935 be removed due to the property being sold before the said lien was
recorded by the Crittenden County Tax Collector's Office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTIONI: The lien imposed by Resolution No. 1935 pursuant to the authority
of Ordinance 13 85 against the property presently owned by Fantasy Home Construction
LLC, at 1603 Goodwin in West Memphis Arkansas, is hereby authorized to be removed.
SECTION 2: The Code Enforcement Office is directed to forward a copy of this
Ordinance to the Crittenden County Tax Collector's Office and to the property owner.
