A RESOLUTION AUTORIZING THE REMOVAL OF LIENS FOR
GRASS CUTTING SERVICES PREFORMED BY THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, Resolution 1935 adopted by the West Memphis City
Council certified charges to be placed as a lien against certain property within the
City of West Memphis, including that property located at 424 Tulane, for grass
cutting services performed by the City of West Memphis pursuant to Ordinance
1385; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 1935 certified charges totaling $188.00 to be placed as a
lien against the property presently owned by Terrie Key, at 424 Tulane in West Memphis
for grass cutting; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Code Enforcement Office that the
lien of $188.00 placed against the property located at 424 Tulane in West Memphis by
Resolution 1935 be removed due to the property being sold before the said lien was
recorded by the Crittenden County Tax Collector's Office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNDIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The lien imposed by Resolution 1935 pursuant to the authority of
Ordinance 1385 against the property presently owned by Terri Key, at 424 Tulane in
West Memphis, Arkansas, is hereby authorized to be removed.
SECTION 2: The Code Enforcement Office is directed to forward a copy of this
Resolution to the Crittenden County Tax Collector's Office and to the property owner.
