AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3235 EAST BROADWAY, ALLOWING A
REFRIGERATED TRUCKING COMPANY IN A C-2, COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission, on
June 30, 2010, for a Special Use Permit to allow a refrigerated trucking company in a C-
2, Commercial District, as required by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 and the Planning Commission recommended
a Special Use Permit be granted to allow a refrigerated trucking company, at 3235 E.
Broadway, located in a C-2, Commercial District, with the following criteria:
1. Work with staff on additional landscape;
2. Remove existing free-standing sign.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The following described property, to wit:
Address: 3235 E. Broadway
West Memphis, Arkansas
Legal Description: Block 1
Colonial Mobile Home Subdivision
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing a refrigerated trucking
company, at 3235 E. Broadway, located in a C-2, Commercial District, with the
following criteria:
1. Work with staff on additional landscape;
2. Remove existing free-standing sign.
SECTION 11: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
