AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE FROM R-3, MOBILE HOME DISTRICT,
TO R-2, LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT CERTAIN
PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
CRITTENDEN COUNTY, ARKANSAS, LOCATED AT
APPROXIMATELY 1214 -1216 WINCHELL STREET AND 1226 -
1228 COX STREET.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission to rezone
the hereinafter described property, from R-3, Mobile Home to R-2, Low Density
Residential and after notice having been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on August 25, 2010, and the Planning Commission recommended the
application be approved and the City Council finds that such application should be
granted;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property located in the City of West
Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas, to wit:
Common Address: approximately 1214 -1216 Winchell Street and 1226 -
1228 Cox Street
Leval Description: Lots 14 thru 19, Block 59 and Lots 4 and 5, Block 60A,
Showers Subdivision, City of West Memphis, Arkansas
Be and the same is hereby rezoned R-2, Low Density Residential.
SECTION II. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
