A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF LIENS FOR GRASS
CUTTING SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1804 adopted by the West Memphis City Council
certified charges to be placed as a liens against certain property within the City of West
Memphis, including that property located at 1101 Little Elton (Lot 1, Blk. 4, Holiday
Gardens, Sec. 3), in West Memphis for grass cutting pursuant to Ordinance 1385; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1804 certified charges of $86.37 to be placed as a
lien against the property owned by Nikita Robertson1101 Little Elton (Lot 1, Blk. 4,
Holiday Gardens, Sec. 3), in West Memphis for grass cutting; and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Code Enforcement Office that a
clerical error was made and the lien of $86.37 placed against the property at 1101 Little
Elton (Lot 1, Blk. 4, Holiday Gardens, Sec. 3), in West Memphis was placed on the tax
books in error; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Code Enforcement Office that the
$86.37 placed against the property located at 1101 Little Elton (Lot 1, Blk. 4, Holiday
Gardens, Sec. 3), in West Memphis by Resolution No. 1804 be removed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
The lien imposed by Resolution No. 1804 pursuant to the authority of Ordinance
1385 against the property owned by Nikita Robertson, 1101 Little Elton (Lot 1,
Blk. 4, Holiday Gardens, Sec. 3), in West Memphis, Arkansas, is hereby
authorized to be removed;
2. The Code Enforcement Office is directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to
the Crittenden County Tax Collector's Office and to the property owner.
