AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, LOCATED ON GRAHAM STREET, CITY OF WE5T MEMPHIS,
CRTTTENDEN COUNTY, ARKANSAS, FROM C-1, COMMERCIAL; R 2,
RESIDENTIAL; R-4, RESIDENTIAL, AND O-1, OFFICE DISTRICT TO BW-1,
GENERAL BROADWAY DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City of West Memphis Planning
Commission to rezone the hereinafter described property and after notice having been
published for the time and in the manner as provided by Ordinance No. 1988, the matter
was heard by the Planning Commission on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 and the Planning
Commission recommended that the application be approved and that the following
described property be rezoned from C-1, Commercial; R 2, Residential; R-4, Residential,
and O-1, Office to BW-1, General Broadway District:

Lot 1, Lots 11A-11B & Lots 10 & 12; Block 8, Lots 14, 22 & 23; and Block 12, Lots 1-15,
Thompson Subdivision.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of West Memphis approved said
petition and recommends that said rezoning be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described property now Zoned C-1, Commercial;
R-2, Residential; R-4, Residential; and 0-1, Office, be and the same is hereby rezoned as
BW-1, General Broadway District:
