BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS that the Resolution adopted by
the West Memphis Airport Commission, August 11, 1983 be
re-affirmed and adopted by the West Memphis City Council.
The contents of the Resolution adopted by the West
Memphis Airport Commission is as follows:
RESOLVED, that the West Memphis Airport Commission
recommends that the City Council of West Memphis,
Arkansas, and its Mayor reject the contents. of
the letter of Bob A. Smith of the Federal Aviation
Administration dated August 2, 1983, and refuse
payment of the bill for collection numbered
82-0239, for the reason that no overpayment has
been made as claimed by the FAA.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mayor Leo Chitman
contact our Representatives in Washington, D.C.
