' RESOLUTION N0. 952
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to make some directives on
the distribution of the funds authorized by Arkansas Statute

84-2828.1 which states that of ".
races at any dog racing meet one-third (1/3) thereof to be
deposited with the City Treasurer or Collector of the City in
which such dog racing track is located for credit to the City
General Fund of such City to be used for charitable purposes only,

as determined by the Mayor and Governing Body of such City
and,
WHEREAS, there have been previous Resolutions concerning
distribution of this fund, this Resolution now hereby rescinds all
previous Resolutions in conflict; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis, the
Governing Body, hereby directs that the funds available for
charitable purposes under Arkansas Statute 84-2828.1 be distributed
as follows:
(1) $3,600.00 to be paid to the Local Chapter of the Chickasaw
Council of the Boy Scouts of America;
(2) The remaining funds shall be distributed to the West
Memphis Boys Club and the Wonder City Boys Club on a fifty-fifty
(50/50) basis.
(a) There shall be submitted to the City Council a written
quarterly report of the activities and average daily attendance.
f (b) There shall be submitted to the City Council a written
quarterly financial statement of the West Memphis Boys Club, the
Wonder City Boys Club and the Local Chapter of the Chickasaw Council
of the Boy Scouts of America;
(c) There. shall also be submitted to the City Council a
quarterly report of the total memberships of the West Memphis Boys
Club, the Wonder City Boys Club, and the Local Chapter of the
Chickasaw Council of the Boy Scouts of America;
(d) There shall also be submitted to the City Council by the
West Memphis Boys Club, the Wonder City Boys Club and the Local
Chapter of the Chickasaw Council of the Boy Scouts of America,. a
copy of the Annual Evaluation Report
(e) All Custodians of the funds for the West Memphis Boys
Club and the Wonder City Boys Club and Local Chapter of the
Chickasaw Council of the Boy Scouts of America shall be bonded
and copy submitted to the Financial Director of the City of
West Memphis, Arkansas. the Wonder

City Boys Club or Local Chapter of the Chickasaw Council of the

Boy Scouts of America to comply with the conditions outlined above
will be reasons why consideration should be given as to the amount
of money to be distributed in the future.
