WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West rZemphis Planning
Commission on December 38, 1983, the Planning Commission
considered and recommended a change in the West ~7emphis
Comprehensive Plan from Apartments to Commercial of the
following described lands, and the City Council finds
that the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan
should be granted; NO~~I, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
r.~ED:4PHIS, ARKANSAS
That the West D.Remphis Comprehensive Plan be amended to
Commercial District with respect to:
That part of the NW4 NWT of Section 13, Town-
ship 6 North, Range 8 East, described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
centerlines of U. S. Highway 70 (Broadway) and
Rice Street in the city of Vest n-Zemphis, Arkansas,
run thence south along the center line of Rice
Street a distance of 600 feet to a point, thence
~ in a westerly direction along a line parallel to
~ and 600 _feet south of the centerline of U. S.
Highway 70 (Broadway) to the centerline of Rich
Road extended south; thence north along the
centerline of Rich Road extended a distance of
600 feet to the centerline of U. S. High~x~ay 70
(Broadway); thence in an easterly direction along
the centerline of U. S. Highway 70 (Broadway) to
the point of beginning, the street address or
approximation thereof being the 700 and 800 blocks
of West Broadway.
