RESOLUTION NO. ~ ~o~
WHEREAS, CALVIN AVERY, 102 Clement Road, West Memphis,
Arkansas, has served as Building Inspector of the City of
West Memphis for ten (10) years; and,
WHEREAS, in this capacity he has also served as
Electrical Inspector and Plumbing Inspector and has performed
many other duties outside of his regular job of Building
Inspector; and,
WHEREAS, during all these years he has executed his
duties in an exceptional manner, while still maintaining
the respect and admiration of all the contractors,
electricians and plumbers with whom he has dealt; and,
WHEREAS, CALVIN AVERY, has recently resigned from
the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, in order to become a
Citizen and enjoy the fine things of the City of West Memphis
which he helped create;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas, that the City regrets the
resignation of MR. CALVIN AVERY, Building Inspector, and
wishes to commend him for the fine service he has rendered
in that capacity; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution
be signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk and
be hand delivered to MR. CALVIN AVERY.
