RESOLUTION N0. 977
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council of the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas, a petition to vacate a 10.0
foot utility easement lying in Lot 22, Avondale Commercial
Subdivision to the City of West Memphis, as shown by plat
~, recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 333, in the office
of the
~~ Circuit Court Clerk & Ex-Officio Recorder of Crittenden Co
unty,
Arkansas, a utility easement and right of way for a utility
easement to be maintained by the City of West Memphis, Arkansas,
said easement being described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point 5.0 feet south of and 300.0 feet
east of northwest corner of said Lot 22, thence east
along a line parallel to and 5.0 feet south of the
north line of said Lot 22 a distance of 500.0 feet.
The above described line being the centerline of a
10.0 foot utility easement lying in Section 1,
Township 6 North, Range 8 East, Crittenden County,
Arkansas.
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council fix a day
for the hearing of such petition and to direct that the City
Clerk give notice of such meeting by publication once a week
~, ! for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in the
,~ county and having a general circulation in the City of West
Memphis, Arkansas: NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the ~ day of September, 1984, at 2:00 p.m., be
fixed as the date and time for the hearing of said petition
and that the City Clerk give notice of such meeting by
publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in same
newspaper published in the county and having a general cir-
culation in the City of West Memphis, Arkansas.
