1031RESOLUTION N0. 1031
WHEREAS, the West Memphis City Council understood
there was approximately $19,000.00 which will be turned
back to the Racing Commission on account of some matters
that occured previously; and,
WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of America, Chickasaw Council,
the local Boy Scout Troop, West Memphis, Arkansas, have
not received any money from the breakage that has been
turned over to the City of West Memphis, as it was
distributed to the West Memphis Boys Club and Wonder City
Boys Club; and,
WHEREAS, it is believed that the Boy Scouts of America
is a worthwhile organization;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Racing Commission
give serious consideration to allocating $2,600.00 from
the turnback money to the Boy Scouts of America, Chickasaw
Council, the local Boy Scout organization of West Memphis,
Arkansas.
That a copy of this Resolution be sent to the Board
of Directors Members:
