WHEREAS, First Baptist Church consented to using one of their
buses to transport citizens of West Memphis to Little
Rock to support a Vo-Tech School in Crittenden County;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis appreciates
most kindly the gesture of the First Baptist Church; and,
WHEREAS, the delegation who went to Little Rock to support the
Vo-Tech School was successful.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
West Memphis, Arkansas:
1. Wishes to thank Reverend Tommie Hinson, the Deacons,
and the members of First Baptist Church, West Memphis,
Arkansas, for this kind deed.
2. Requests that a copy of this Resolution be sent to
Reverend Tommie Hinson, Pastor, First Baptist Church.
