WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, has been
most fortunate in obtaining the services of Mr. Robert I. Darr,
Associate Research Specialist, University of Arkansas, Industrial
Research and Extension Center, and to have him appear at our Port
Authority Meetings to discuss the Port Facility Development Con-
siderations Plan, which he has composed; and,
WHEREAS, this Port Facility Development Considerations
Plan has brought to the attention, of_ not only the Port Authority,
but to many others, the feasibility and the practicality of. the
economic boom to this area; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas, is most grateful for the services performed by Mr.
Robert I. Darr;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
1. That the City Council_ wishes to commend Mr. Robert
I. Darr for his fine plan which he has presented to the City of
West Memphis, Arkansas;
2. That the City of West Memphis is most grateful to
the University of Arkansas Industrial Research and Extension
Center for their courtesies.
