WHEREAS, Mr. R. G. Friday, a very respected citizen and
leader in civic and religious activities in the City
of West Memphis, Arkansas, has recently passed away;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis is, indeed, grateful for
the services of Mr. R. G. Friday rendered in behalf of
the West Memphis Board of Review for a long number of
years; and,
WHEREAS, it was through the efforts of Mr. R. Friday as
a Member of the Board of Review that much of the
objectionable literature and entertainment has been
corrected; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. R. G. Friday will be missed in all phases of
life in West Memphis, including the religious, educational,
and civic:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the City of West Memphis being greatly saddened
by the passing of Mr. R. G. Friday, wishes to extend
to Mrs. Friday and Her Family the deepest sympathy in
