RESOLUTION N0. .~~
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, recently
experienced a crisis where the safety of our Citizens and
their property was in jeopardy; and,
WHEREAS, it was necessary to call outside help to
adequately protect our Citizens and their propertyr ands
WHEREAS, SHERIFF R. L. SIMMONS did give his assistance
in a most commendable manner with his Deputies to patrol our
City day and night during the critical times when the City
was undergoing this crisis.,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the City Council is indeed, grateful for the
assistance rendered our City by SHERIFF R. L. SIMMONS, and
wishes to commend him and his many fine Deputies of Crittenden
County, Arkansas; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED;
That a copy of this Resolution be sent to SHERIFF R. L.
SIMMONS of Crittenden County, Arkansas.
