WHEREAS, the Emergency Medical Services is a subject
which is of great concern to all citizens of Crittenden County;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis
believes that the Emergency Medical Services should be
on a county-wide basis; and,
WHEREAS, Crittenden Memorial Hospital is urged to supervise
the County Ambulance Service and that the County be responsible
for any losses incurred for supervisory help; and,
WHEREAS, the County should supplement an Agent of the
Hospital to provide protection for possible liability;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the the City Council of the City of West Memphis
request County Judge Jack Brawley to in~~.te tNe Board of
Trustees of Crittenden Memorial Hospital to counsel with the
Quorum Court to solve this problem..
