WHEREAS, it is desirable that any industry which the
City Council sponsors on Act Nine (g) make some commitment
as to payment of money in lieu of taxes; and,
WHEREAS, the Act Nine (g) Committee has come to an
agreement as to the amount of money that Lakeside Oil Company
shall pay in lieu of taxes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the following agreement as to payment in lieu of
taxes be ap proved:
Building - School 60% $1,938,00.
City 33% 1,065.90
County 7% 226...10
TOTAL $3,230,00
