WHEREAS, there are certain legal requirements necessary
for the City of West Memphis to cross the Missouri Pacific
Railroad Company's Right of Way for the purpose of installing
eight inch (8") water pipe line at Tenark, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, a Pipeline License has been prepared for
execution by the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company as a
carrier and as the City of West Memphis as licensee; and,
WHEREAS, it is necesary that the City Council of the
City of West Memphis give the power to the Mayor of the
City of West Memphis to sign the license and for the
City Clerk to affix his seal thereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a check in the amount
of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) be given the Missouri
Pacific Railroad Company as license. fee;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor be authorized to execute the license
with the Missouri Pacific Railroad in behalf of the City
of West Memphis; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor be authorized to pay to the Missouri
Pacific Railroad Company an amount of Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00) as license fee.
