WHEREAS: Pritchard Horton has served the City of West Memphis as
Alderman from Ward Four for fourteen years; and,
WHEREAS: during his tenure of office, Pritchard Horton has served
~ faithfully and has carried out his duties in a splendid
~ manner; and,
WHEREAS: the City of West Memphis and its citizens have been greatly
benefited by the services of Pritchard Horton; and,
WHEREAS: during his tenure on the City Council, Pritchard Horton has
been instrumental in the construction of the Utility Commission
Building, the Neighborhood Facility, the City Hall and Aud-
itorium Complex, the Tilden Rodgers Park, the Westwood Acres
Park, the New City Shop Complex, and the construction of many
major streets throughout out City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS THAT WE WISH:
1. To take this opportunity to publically express our sincere
appreciation to Pritchard Horton for the fourteen years
of dedicated and loyal service while serving on the City
Council.
2. To commend Pritchard Horton for the excellent job he has
accomplished while serving as Vice-Mayor, Chairman of the
Street Committee, Chairman of the Public Works Committee,
Chairman of the Police and Fire Commissions, as a member of
the Budget Committee, and many other Committees which are
too numerous to name.
