WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West Memphis Planning
Commission on June 24, 1981, the Planning Commission con-
sidered and recommended a change in the West Memphis Compre-
hensive Plan from Industrial District to Apartment District
of the following desc_r_ibed lands, and the City Council finds
that the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan should
be granted; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan be amended to
Apartment District with respect to:
A part of Lot 4 of Bond's Survey of Irregular Lots in the
North Half (Nl/2) of Section 24, Township 6 North, Range
8 East, as shown by a plat of record in Plat Book 1 at
page 106 of the records of Crittenden County, Arkansas,
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 40 of Bond's
Survey of Irregular Lots (which is designated on the plat
as Hulbert School property), run thence East 528 feet,
more or less, along the South boundary of Lot 40 to the
southeast corner thereof, thence North 7 degrees 15 minutes
East along the East boundary of Lot 40 a distance of 100
feet to a point, thence North 84 degrees 30 minutes East
718 feet to a point on the West boundary line of Rupple
Dabbs homestead property, thence South 0 degrees 10 minutes
West along the West boundary line of the Rupple Dabbs prop-
erty 337.6 feet to a point, thence South 89 degrees 38
minutes West from said point and along the North boundary
line of the public road right-of-way to the intersection of
public road with the West line of Lot 4 according to said
plat and thence North along the West line of Lot 4 of the
point of beginning.
