RESOLUTION N0. ~~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS GRANTING AN
EASEMENT TO ARKANSAS POWER & LIGHT COMPANX
WHEREAS, Arkansas Power & Light Company has built a substation
on City property known as the West Memphis Dover Road Substation,
with an easement granted by the West Memphis Utility Commission; and
WHEREAS, the easement should have additionally been approved by
the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION l: Because this easement is in the best interest of the
City of West Memphis the following easement be granted:
A parcel of land lying in the NW 4 of Section ?, Township 6
North, Range 9 East, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said NW ~;
thence North 89 degrees 43 minutes West along
the North line of said Section ?, said line
also being the centerline of Ten Mile Bayou
Diversion Ditch, a distance of 1,256.82 feet
to the point of beginning; thence continue
North 89 degrees 43 minutes West a distance
of 685.0 feet to the proposed easterly
right of way line of Dover Road Extension;
thence South 50 degrees 04 minutes East a
distance of 197.68 feet; thence North 39
degrees 56 minutes East a distance of 11.0 feet;
thence South 50 degrees 04 minutes East a
distance of 30.0 feet; thence South 39 degrees
56 minutes West a distance of 11.0 feet; thence
South 50 degrees 04 minutes East, a distance
of 455.45 feet; thence in a Southeasterly
direction along a curve that breaks to the
right with a radius of 1,175.91 feet an arc
length of 6.28 feet; thence South 89 degrees
43 minutes East a distance of 162.30 feet;
thence North 00 degrees 47 minutes West a
distance of 440.0 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 4.27 acres, more or less, the
North 125.0 feet of this property is subject to
a 125.0 foot drainage easement.

SECTIQN 2: The Mayor and the City Clerk of City of West Memphis
will execute this document.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
