There are several employees of the Fire Department that are eligible for retirement now. If all Fire Department employees that are eligible to retire, retired at January 1, 1982, the Firemen's Pension would pay pension in 1982 in the amount of ~ 192,638.00. The Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension Fund, considering the above facts, feel that the City Council should levy the full One (1) F'1i11 property tax for the Firemen's Pension Fund.
