WHEREAS, it is with deep regret that the City Council of
the City of West Memphis has learned that Gary Rushing has
resigned to accept a job in private industry; and,
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis regrets to lose the
services of Gary Rushing; however, it is commendable that he
wishes to seek higher goals and utilize his talents and ability
in the business world; and,
WHEREAS, during the time Gary Rushing has worked for the
West Memphis Utility Department he has distinguished himself
in many ways; namely:
(1) The operation and installation of the
Load Management System;
(2) Water and Sewer Alarm Systems;
(3) The ability to supervise personnel under his
control; and,
WHEREAS, all employees of the City of West Memphis will
sincerely miss him and wish him well in his new endeavor;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
1. The City Council deeply regrets Gary Rushing's
departure from the West Memphis Utility .Department, and desire
to place in his record a Commendation for all the good things
he has done for the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, while
employed at the Utility Department.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
2. That a copy of this Resolution be placed in Gary
Rushing's Personnel File;
3. That a copy of this Resolution be sent to Gary Rushing,
