RESOLUTION N0. !J
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas, is concerned about the Ditch under the jurisdiction
of Drainage District No. 6, Crittenden County, Arkansas, on
Stuart St., West Memphis, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of
West Memphis, Arkansas, have information that a certain
dwelling's foundation overhangs the Ditch near Stuart St.,
West Memphis, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, there are other residences in that vicinity
which might be damaged by this Ditch; and,
WHEREAS, it is believed the responsibility of maintenance
of this Ditch is the responsibility of Drainage District No. 6;
r THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas:
1. That the Commissioners of Drainage District No. 6
be requested to use their efforts toward improving the
maintenance of this Ditch on Stuart Street, West Memphis,
Arkansas. l
