WHEREAS, the West Memphis Utility Department has
rendered utility bills to customers in the City of West Pdemphis

~ twice during one (1) month; and,
WHEREAS, to pay two (2) utility bills within one (1)
month is causing a severe economic hardship to the average
customer of the West Memphis Utility Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis
wishes to assist in this problem;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the City Council recommends to the West Memphis
Utility Department that a ten (10) day extension be given
to pay the utility bills rendered in the month of September,
1981.
