RESOLUTION /~ Q ~~
WHEREAS, a Petition has been filed by James
Richard Walker, Evelyn Bishop, Lee M. Ferguson and
Audrey Ferguson, for the vacation of a portion of Church
Street connecting 36th Street and Club Road as follows,
to-wit:
That portion of Church Street running in an
East-West direction between the Easterly
right-of-way line of 36th Street and the
Westerly right-of-way line of Club Road within
4th Rich Eastern Addition to the City of West
Memphis, Arkansas, as the same is shown on a
plat entitled 4th Rich Eastern Addition, West
Memphis, Arkansas, of record in Plat Book 2
at page 161 of the records of Crittenden County,
Arkansas, and the Walker Estate Subdivision
as the same is shown on a plat of the Walker
Estate of record in Plat Book 2 at page 201
of the records of Crittenden County, Arkansas,
particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1
Block 5 of 4th Rich Eastern Addition, thence
running East to the Northeast corner of Lot
14 of the Walker Estate Subdivision, thence
North to the Southeast corner of Lot 15 of
the Walker Estate Subdivision, thence running
West to the Southwest corner of Lot 13, Block
1 of 4th Rich Eastern Addition, thence South
to the point of beginning,

and it is appropriate that a hearing be set upon said Petition

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said Petition
be heard at a meeting of the City Council to be held on the
day of _~~ ~ ~ 1982, and that the City Clerk
of the City of West Memphis be, and he is hereby, directed
to give notice of such hearing by publication thereof once
each week for two consecutive weeks in the Evening Times, a
newspaper published in Crittenden County, Arkansas, having a
general circulation in the City of West Memphis, Arkansas.

VACATE A PORTION OF CHURCH STREET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Petition has been
filed with the City Council of the City of West A4emphis,
Arkansas, by James Richard Walker, Evelyn Bishop, Lee M.
Ferguson and Audrey Ferguson, requesting that the said
City Council vacate, close and abandon a portion of Church
Street connecting 36th Street and Club Road, more speci-
fically designated as follows, to-wit:
That portion of Church Street running in an
East-West direction between the Easterly
right-of-way line of 36th Street and the
Westerly right-of-way line of Club Road within
4th Rich Eastern Addition to the City of ti4est
Memphis, Arkansas, as the same is shown on a
plat entitled 4th Rich Eastern Addition, Vilest
Memphis, Arkansas, of record in Plat Book 2
at page 161 of the records of .Crittenden County,
Arkansas, and the Walker Estate Subdivision
as the same is shown on a plat of the Walker
Estate of record in Plat Book 2 at page 201
of the records of Crittenden County, Arkansas,
particularly described as follows, to-wit:
