WHEREAS, AT THE MEETING OF THE West Memphis Planning Commission on June 30, 1982
the Planning Commission considered and recommended a change in ,the West Memphis
Comprehensive Plan from General Business to Industrial of the following described
lands, and the City Council finds that the recommended change in the Comprehensive
Plan should be granted; NGW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COCINCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan be amended to Industrial District with
respect to:
That part of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 16,
and that part of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section
g in Township 6 North, Range 9 East described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the NE 1/4 of the
P1E 1/4 of Section 16, run thence south along the west
line of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 16, a
distance of 340 feet to an iron pipe; thence east 489.4
feet to an iron pipe; thence north 340 feet to the north
line of Section 16; thence west 489.4 feet to the point
of beginning; AND a strip of land lying between the tract
above described and the south line of U.S. Highway No. 70
being a part of the SEtl/4 of tre SE 1/4 of Section 9,
Township 6 North, Range 9 East.
