WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West Memphis Planning Commission
on July 28, 1982, the Planning Commission considered and recommended
a change in the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan from Commercial to

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:
That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan be amended to Industrial
District with respect to:
That part of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter
of Section Nine, Township Six North, Range Nine East,
particularly described as follows: Beginning at an
iron stake in the north line of the right-of-way of
United States Highway No. 70 which point is 1155.4
feet west of the east line of said Section Nine
measured along said highway line, and is the southwest
corner of the tract taken by Arkansas State Commission
in Cause No. 4897 in the Crittenden Circuit Court as
the right-of-way for the over-pass connecNong70heandw
by-pass Highway No. 61 with said Highway
from said point of beginning run thence west along
the north line of the right-of-way of said Highway
