WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West Memphis Planning
Commission on August 25, 1982, the Planning Commission considered
and recommended a change in the G7est Memphis Comprehensive Plan
from Commercial to Industry of the following described lands,
and the City Council finds that the recommended change in the
Comprehensive Plan should be granted; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan be amended to
Industry District with respect to:
A part of the SE 1/4 of Section 9, Township 6 North,
Range 9 East, lying north of the center line of U. S.
Highway 70, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the corner of Section 9, 10, 15 and
16, Township 6 North, Range 9 East; thence north
75.3 feet along the east line of the SE 1/4 of said
Section 9 to the point of beginning; thence north
1 degree 14 minutes 40 seconds west a distance of
225.45 feet along said east line of said Section
9 to a point in the south right of way line of U. S.
Highway 70 Overpass; thence south 70 degrees 50
minutes 50 seconds west a distance of 66.38 feet
along the south right of way line of Highway 70
Overpass; thence south 68 degrees 57 minutes 50
seconds west a distance of ?.72.32 feet along said.

48 minutes 40 seconds east a distance of 68.03

a point on the present center line of U. S. Highway
70; thence east a distance of 674.72 feet along
said center line to the point of beginning, containing
1.925 acres, more or less.
Being in the 4200 block of East Broadway, West Memphis,
Arkansas.
