A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FROM CV, CONSERVATION, TO
COMMERCIAL FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2498
KUHN ROAD, IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, CRITTENDEN
COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis Planning Commission held a public
hearing on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 and considered and recommended a change in the
West Memphis Comprehensive Plan from Conservation to Commercial, for certain
property located at 2498 Kuhn Road, in the City of West Memphis, Crittenden County,
Arkansas and the City Council finds the recommended change in the Comprehensive
Plan should be granted, of the following described property as follows:
Common Address: 2498 Kuhn Road
Leal Address: A 7.0 acre tract of land lying in the SW'/4 of Section 9, T-6-N,
R-8-E, Crittenden County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said Section 9 that is 165.0 feet south of the
west quarter corner of said Section 9, thence south 89 degrees 03 minutes east a
distance of 556.01 feet, thence south 00 degrees 57 minutes west a distance of 455.66
feet to a point on the north right-of--way line of Interstate Highway 40, thence along
said right-of--way line of Interstate 40 the following calls:
South 70 degrees 25 minutes West - 10.0 feet
South 50 degrees 17 minutes 14 seconds West - 319.52 feet
South 70 degrees 25 minutes West - 196.7 feet
North OS degrees 20 minutes West - 640.2 feet
North 89 degrees 03 minutes West - 50.0 feet
And the City Council finds that the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The West Memphis Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended from
CV, Conservation, to Commercial, of the following described property in the City of
West Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas:
Common Address: 2498 Kuhn Road
Legal Address: A 7.0 acre tract of land lying in the SW '/ of Section 9, T-6-N,
R-8-E, Crittenden County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
