AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2498
KUHN ROAD IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, CRITTENDEN
COUNTY, ARKANSAS, FROM CV-CONSERVATION, TO C-2, OPEN
DISPLAY COMMERCIAL.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission to rezone
the hereinafter described property, and after notice having been published for the time
and in the manner as provided by Ordinance No. 988, as amended, the matter was heard
by the City Planning Commission on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 and the Planning
Commission recommended to approve the application to rezone the following described
property from CV-Conservation, to C-2, Open Display Commercial:
Street Address: 2498 Kuhn Road
Legal Address: A 7.0 acre tract of land lying in the SW '/4 of Section 9, T-6-N,
R-8-E, Crittenden County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said Section 9 that is 165.0 feet south of the
west quarter corner of said Section 9, thence south 89 degrees 03 minutes east a
distance of 556.01 feet, thence south 00 degrees 57 minutes west a distance of 455.66
feet to a point on the north right-of--way line of Interstate Highway 40, thence along
said right-of--way line of Interstate 40 the following calls:
South 70 degrees 25 minutes West - 10.0 feet
South 50 degrees 17 minutes 14 seconds West - 319.52 feet
South 70 degrees 25 minutes West - 196.7 feet
North OS degrees 20 minutes West - 640.2 feet
North 89 degrees 03 minutes West - 50.0 feet
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following property now Zoned C-V, Conservation d the
same is hereby, Rezoned C-2, Open Display Commercial:
Street Address: 2498 Kuhn Road
