AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 602 MISSOURI STREET IN THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, CRITTENDEN COUNTY, ARKANSAS ALLOWING A LANDSCAPE
SERVICE IN A C-1, COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission, on
May 25, 2011, for a Special Use Permit to allow a Landscape Service, in a C-1,
Commercial District, as required by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No.1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 and the Planning Commission recommended
a Special Use Permit be granted and allow a Landscape Service at 620 Missouri Street,
located in C-1, Commercial District, with the following criteria:
1. Utilize entire 100' lot.
2. Present proper site plan to Design Review Commission.
3. Add landscape per Design Review Commission recommendations.
4. Construct a site proof fence to screen entire area to be utilized for
equipment.
5. Repaint exterior of building per Design Review Commission
recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNSEL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The following described property, to wit:
Common Address: 602 Missouri Street
Legal Description: Lot 8, Block 1, Compress Subdivision
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing a Landscape Service at 602
Missouri Street, located in a C-1, Commercial District, with the following criteria:
1. Utilize entire 100' lot.
2. Present proper site plan to Design Review Commission.
3. Add landscape per Design Review Commission recommendations.
4. Construct a site proof fence to screen entire area to be utilized for
equipment.
5. Repaint exterior of building per Design Review Commission
recommendations.
SECTION 11: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
